Members honoured on Queen's Birthday

Human rights lawyer Julian McMahon, medical researcher Professor Peter Colman and philanthropist Aaron Gandel were among 40 MCC members recognised in the 2017 Queen's Birthday honours list.

MCC members were honoured for contributions across a wide range of fields and endeavours.

Others included former Australian cricketer Jim Higgs, barrister Brian Bourke, MCC War Veterans chairman David Blackwell, events promoter Michael Coppel, and MCG trustee Ian Carson and his wife, Simone, co-founders of SecondBite food charity.
